Meet
Cheri Ruskus
"The
important thing is not to stop questioning.
Curiosity has its own reason for existing."
- Albert Einstein
Inspired
by her own ongoing curiosity Cheri Ruskus discovered
and created the many aspects of Business Victories
through trial, error and yes. ultimately. victory!
In
her late twenties, after working her way from California
to Colorado, Cheri knew in her gut that her calling
in life was that of an Entrepreneur.
A strong independent streak carried her along her
way. Inspired through her fear of the unknown
and propelled by the lack of a paycheck ...the anticipation
of what she could create compelled her to start her
first business.
The
business was a telephone answering service that she
purchased, developed and created a full range of business
services for the next 16 years. Business Answers
helped Cheri to no only fully discover the entrepreneur
in herself but she became intrigued with her wide
variety of clients and the businesses that they had
created.
In
1998 after selling the answering service division
of her company she discovered the new and emerging
world of coaching. Again her curiosity
compelled her to uncover what coaching was all about
and three years later she graduated from CoachU while
operating her print and web design company,
The Business Shop.
Cheri
discovered that for her the best blend in coaching
was to take on a few clients here and there while
continuing to operate her own business ventures.
This has allowed for her to have fresh perspective
on the current business trends and needs in the marketplace
while keeping her creative juices flowing in operating
a variety of businesses.
Add
to all this her passion for the art of writing.
There is something about bringing words together that
allows her to best express herself. She
has been able to share this with her clients and work
with them to create words of their own. In
2003, the publication of her first book - The
Victory Letters, Inspiration for the Human Race
- was a dream come true. Over the summer of
2006 she will be working on her next book.
Through all
her endeavors she has been blessed with her husband
of nearly 22 years, Ed and her two children Travis
and Bailey ages 18 and 16 as well as Samanatha, her
9 year old yellow lab "puppy".
